About This Position
  • This is a casual position, working various shifts Monday to Friday, 6:30am - 6:30pm.
  • You will be based at Goodstart Strathfieldsaye, one of our state-of-the-art childcare centres located in the semi-rural suburb of Strathfieldsaye.
  • Your commitment to providing high-quality education and care will be essential in meeting the needs of our children and their families.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Active contribution to the education program in the room and centre team.
  2. Engaging and supervising children at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  3. Maintaining a safe environment for children, families, and team members, adhering to National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies.
  4. Building and maintaining strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  5. Supporting a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
  • Current VIC Working with Children Check.
  • Ability to travel between other local services and flexible availability between Monday-Friday, 6:30am – 6:30pm.
