About the Role:

Maintenance Supervisor

">

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating maintenance and repair activities for our fleet of heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians and mechanics, ensuring safe and efficient workshop operations.">
  • Develop and execute maintenance schedules, prioritise repairs, and coordinate equipment availability.">
  • Ensure that all maintenance and repair work meets safety standards and quality expectations.">
  • Manage spare parts inventory, ordering, and restocking to minimize downtime.">
  • Enforce strict safety protocols and promote a culture of safety within the workshop.">
  • Provide regular reports on maintenance activities, equipment status, and workshop performance.">
  • Coach and mentor team members, identifying training needs and opportunities for skill enhancement.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Current & Valid Driver's Licence (HR Preferred)">
  • National Police Clearance (within 12 months – validity site dependant)">
  • Trade qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Technician).">
  • Proven experience as a Workshop Supervisor in the mining or heavy equipment industry.">
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.">
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to industry regulations.">
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.">
