Thales seeks a skilled professional to join their Scylla Maintenance Team, working on the Collins Class Submarines.

Job Overview

This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Field Service Technician to collaborate with Maintenance Managers and other technicians to ensure equipment runs smoothly and efficiently.

Your Responsibilities
  • You will work on complex systems across electrical and IT disciplines, providing support to the Maritime and Ship Repair Services Domain.
  • Manage your time effectively to complete tasks in line with complex scheduled activities.
  • You may be required to travel interstate and internationally to support activities.
Key Requirements
  • Cert 4 in Electronics or equivalent experience.
  • An electrical trade with relevant experience.
  • Australian citizenship and NV1 and ITAR clearance are mandatory requirements.
  • Ability to work within tight spaces within submarines.
  • Proven track record in quality assurance and fault diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of complex equipment and systems.
