Homecare Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Care Professional to join our team.

This is a part-time position that offers guaranteed hours and shifts in the Harrington area. As a Care Worker, you will provide home help services such as:

• General housekeeping and making beds
• Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors
• Washing, folding and ironing laundry
• Meal preparation and grocery shopping

You will also provide personal care services such as:

• Getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed for the day
• Assisting clients to take their medications
• Assisting with mobility and therapy goals
• Providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia
• Providing social and emotional support
• Providing the client with transport to lifestyle activities or appointments
• Helping the family carer to have a break or an opportunity to do other things

In addition, you will need:

• An Open class Australian Driver's Licence and your own insured, roadworthy vehicle
• Experience of 3 months or more in a similar professional role, with experience in aged care

This role offers an award rate of $32.74 per hour, plus super and paid kilometers. You will also have access to an employee benefits program and salary packaging up to $18,550 tax free each year.

We offer accelerated learning programs to gain your professional qualifications (Cert 3) and paid CPR and First Aid courses.
