CNC Machining Instructor

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitting Lecturer with a strong background in CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machining. Role Responsibilities- Commit to a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, which includes 21 hours dedicated to teaching and the remainder for student support, professional development, and administrative tasks.
- Deliver both practical and theoretical instruction in mechanical fitting, emphasizing CNC machining techniques.
- Develop and refine curriculum materials to reflect the latest industry standards and practices.
- Mentor and guide students, creating a supportive learning environment that promotes skill enhancement and career development.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback to foster improvement.
- Ensure the maintenance of workshop equipment, promoting a safe and efficient learning atmosphere.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience in mechanical fitting, with substantial expertise in CNC machining. Experience may be considered with less than 5 years if it includes intensive roles exceeding 37.5 hours per week.
- Possession of trade qualifications in Mechanical Fitting.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems, particularly CNC machinery.
- Familiarity with tools and equipment pertinent to mechanical fitting and CNC operations.
- Strong grasp of mechanical processes, CNC programming, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, including those specific to CNC machinery.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A genuine passion for educating and mentoring future mechanical fitters.
