Job Description

**Job Title:** Senior Financial Manager

**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Manager to join our team at Eden Ritchie Recruitment. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial guidance and support to our clients.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Financial Planning and Analysis:** Assist with the preparation of budget forecasts and monitoring of financial performance, including coordinating the monthly accrual process and activities related to the management of the recurrent budget.
  • **Financial Processing:** Ensure accurate and timely financial processing in SAP, across a range of transactions, in order to meet the required legislative requirements, systems, practices, and processes.
  • **Contractual Payments and Receipts:** Provide support in the processing of financial transactions pertaining to contractual payments and receipts under Public Private Partnership (PPP) arrangements.
  • **Purchasing and Procurement:** Prepare purchase orders in SAP and provide purchasing advice in accordance with Departmental or State Purchasing Policy and Procedures.
  • **Client Liaison:** Liaise with internal and external clients in respect of order details, funds availability, and delivery requirements.
  • **Research and Analysis:** Undertake research, analysis, and evaluation to provide specialist advice, information, and support services across a broad range of finance, budget, and infrastructure program-related issues.
  • **Business Improvement:** Support business improvements and provide support to managers and team members to implement improvement and promote best practice within the team.
  • **Workload Management:** Prioritize workload to ensure that services and programs are delivered within required timeframes.

**Requirements:**

  • **Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills:** Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential for this role.
  • **FTE Reconciliation Experience:** Experience with FTE reconciliation is highly desirable.
  • **Management Accounting Experience:** Strong Management Accounting experience (at least 5 years) is required.
  • **SAP Experience:** SAP experience is desirable.
  • **Government Experience:** Government experience is desirable.
