About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Team Member to join our team in Tamworth on a casual basis. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the collection, sorting, and storage of recyclable drink containers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing Excellent Customer Service: You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, ensuring that their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
  • Operating Equipment: You will operate equipment used for bulk sorting of recyclable drink containers, as well as use a forklift to empty bins of sorted recyclable containers.
  • Point of Sale Operations: You will be responsible for operating the point of sale system to ensure accurate sales and refund transactions.
  • Maintenance and Reporting: You will assist in other activities such as housekeeping, maintenance of warehouse equipment, reporting faulty equipment needing repair, etc.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication Skills: You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to provide outstanding customer service.
  • Forklift Experience: A current valid Forklift Licence (Counter Balance) is required.
  • Warehouse Experience: Experience working within a warehouse and/or production environment is highly desirable.
  • Manual Tasks: You must be able to perform manual/physical tasks and work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Workplace Health and Safety: A thorough understanding of work, health and safety requirements within a warehouse environment is essential.
