Job Title: Risk and Intelligence Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Risk and Intelligence Officer to join our Client Engagement Group, where you will play a vital role in protecting the integrity of the tax and superannuation systems.

  • You will work closely with risk and strategy professionals, operational teams, and external bodies to ensure outputs support the strategic and operational needs of the ATO.
Duties and Responsibilities

As a Risk and Intelligence Officer, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Generating intelligence to inform the management of risks to the taxation and superannuation systems.
  • Producing impartial insights and advice for tax and superannuation projects, outputs and services which reduce uncertainty and inform decisions by the ATO.
  • Contributing to the development, planning and production of intelligence outputs and outcomes.
  • Collaborating across teams to contribute to staff capability development and harness insights to improve the client experience.
  • Guiding a small team to undertake a range of strategic activities that identify and inform risk mitigation strategies for the ATO.
