Job Opportunity: Auto ElectricianWe are currently seeking a skilled Auto Electrician to join our team in a full-time capacity at our Caboolture Workshop. The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, with opportunities for overtime. Reporting to the Workshop Superintendent, the Auto Electrician will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities:- Completing electrical components of rebuilds of drill rigs and other mining equipment and mining assets
- Fault finding and diagnostics of drill rigs and other mining assets
- Maintaining accurate records of all electrical repairs and installations
- Collaborating with other team members to complete projects within deadlines
- Applying safe systems of work and implementing risk control measures in the workshop while performing tasks (JHA's & Take 5's)
- Ensuring the work area is kept in a clean and tidy condition
- Trade Certificate – Automotive Electrical
- Previous experience conducting component change-outs and breakdown repairs
- Outstanding troubleshooting / diagnostic skills using OEM diagnostic tools to identify complex electrical problems
- Driver Licence
- Capability in reading and interpreting auto electrical schematics
- Ability to work independently as well as a part of the team including mentoring and training Apprentices
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- PLC experience
- Airconditioning Licence and Certificates
- Forklift Licence and operating experience
