Mental Health Care Specialist

The role of a clinical nurse is to provide high-quality patient care in an acute mental health setting.
As part of the acute care team, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to assess and stabilize patients in crisis, develop and implement individualized care plans, and coordinate seamless transitions between hospital and community services.
Key aspects of this role include:
- Qualifications: Current registration as a registered nurse with AHPRA without any restrictions.
- Experience: Proven background in mental health nursing at the clinical nurse level, particularly within intake and triage.
- Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
This position requires a skilled and experienced mental health nurse who can effectively manage patient care, communicate with colleagues and stakeholders, and contribute to the development of a supportive and inclusive team environment.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
