We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory, you will be responsible for performing manual and automated diagnostic testing, including specimen dissection, stock control, and maintaining current scientific knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Executing routine procedures from point of specimen reception to results for Pathological diagnosis
  • Assisting with inventory management and maintaining records in line with protocols
  • Maintaining all equipment and operating equipment in line with protocols
  • Maintaining current scientific knowledge and participating in Quality Assurance activities
  • Contributing to continuous improvement and the development of new assays as required
  • Liaising with internal and/or external stakeholders regarding test results or referrals as necessary
  • Compliance and adherence with Policies and Procedures, Workplace Health and Safety Procedures and Quality Assurance Processes

You will work across two hospital laboratories in a rotating roster that includes weekends and night shifts.
