Program Coordinator Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Program Coordinator to lead and manage our Extended Hours Program.

About the Role
  • This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and passionate individual to join our team as a Program Coordinator.
  • As a Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and leading the program, including developing and implementing strategies to promote local culture and community engagement.
  • You will work closely with local First Nation and Elders to ensure that the program meets the needs and aspirations of the community.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement strategies to promote local culture and community engagement.
  2. Coordinate and lead the program, including managing resources and monitoring progress.
  3. Build and maintain partnerships with local stakeholders to ensure the success of the program.
  4. Ensure policy, procedures, quality, and risk management are adhered to.
  5. Resource management - monitor resource use and condition and report on any concerns.
  6. Data monitoring and reporting.
Requirements
  • Experience in community engagement and program coordination.
  • Ability to work in environments and with people who may have experienced trauma.
  • Demonstrated respect and understanding of Indigenous cultures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
