Are you an analytical professional looking for a challenge in a national business?

As the Process Improvement Specialist, you will play a key role in driving change and improvement across processing sites. You will report into the Head of Industrial Engineering, working across all of our Tasmanian processing sites.

You will have strong analytical skills and proven experience in delivering continuous improvement initiatives. You will be a collaborative team player, with the ability to build strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate existing manufacturing processes to identify improvement opportunities in terms of efficiency, productivity, and cost reduction.
  • Develop and implement process optimisation strategies to enhance overall processing performance and meet site KPI's.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new processing processes or modify existing ones.
  • Deliver improvement projects on time and within budget to meet project objectives.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in manufacturing processes to drive innovation within the organisation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field.
  • Detailed understanding of Lean and process control principles with proven application for process optimisation.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of industry experience, including proven experience in Process Improvement Engineering.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes.
