The Equipment Coordinator Driver is a critical link between our branch, customers, and their projects. As the Kennards Hire representative, you'll provide expert advice, pickups, deliveries, and ensure our equipment is ready for hire.
Key Responsibilities- Instruct and demonstrate safe equipment usage to customers.
- Perform pickups and deliveries, safely loading and unloading equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service in all interactions.
- Maintain equipment quality through regular servicing and minor repairs.
- Clean branch facilities and perform equipment 'check in' and 'check out' inspections.
- Successful applicants come from various backgrounds, including customer service, building & construction, hospitality, retail, driver, landscaping, trade & maintenance.
- A valid driver's licence is required.
- This role involves physical components, including lifting and standing for long periods. A level of physical fitness is required, and the ability to pass a drug test.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude are essential.
- Be proactive and keen to learn new skills.
- An interest in machinery and equipment is beneficial, although training will be provided.
