Job Description

We are seeking part-time employees to join our team in the Toowoomba area. The role of a Home Care Employee is varied and offers flexible work hours. Whether you're experienced or just starting out, there are plenty of opportunities to gain valuable on-the-job experience while pursuing your passion for quality care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with daily tasks such as grooming, bathing, dressing, and hygiene to ensure their comfort, dignity, and well-being.
  • Household Assistance: Support clients with cleaning, meal preparation, and general household tasks to maintain a safe and tidy living environment.
  • Transportation: Drive clients to medical appointments, shopping, and social activities, ensuring they can access essential services and maintain their independence.
  • Social Engagement: Foster social interaction and provide companionship, offering emotional support to improve clients' quality of life and overall well-being.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Effective communication skills
  • An empathic and caring approach
  • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
  • Access to a fully maintained and insured vehicle
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Competency with smartphones/tablets or willingness to learn
  • Physical fitness for manual handling and extended periods of standing/sitting
  • Qualified Home Care Employee: Certificate III in Individual Support (essential)
  • Current First Aid Certificate and CPR or willingness to obtain
  • Current unrestricted Australian Driver's License
