About the Role

As the chief executive officer, you will oversee operations, guide the implementation of strategic priorities, and represent the profession to government, regulators, and key stakeholders. Your leadership skills will be essential in delivering sustainable outcomes while maintaining our integrity, transparency, and member-first focus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership & Governance: Ensure strong governance through effective risk, compliance, and performance oversight, supported by clear, strategic advice.
  • Membership Engagement: Drive strategies to grow and retain membership. Enhance member value through advocacy, education, networking, and clear, consistent communication.
  • Advocacy & Representation: Represent us alongside our National President in key forums. Advocate for member interests, manage stakeholder relationships, and delegate clinical matters where required.
  • Programs, Events & Education: Lead the delivery of relevant, high-quality events and professional development in collaboration with our Executive Officer.
  • Collaboration & Team Leadership: Lead a small team and support volunteer and committee contributions. Build a collaborative, high-performing culture focused on learning, growth, and shared purpose.
