We are seeking an experienced English instructor to join our team in Sydney, Australia.

Job Description

Our ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience teaching adults and a strong background in language training. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering face-to-face tutoring sessions to our clients, using a range of materials and techniques to meet their individual needs.

The role involves working with adult learners, typically in 1.5 hour sessions, 2-3 times per week. We are flexible regarding the schedule, but mornings on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays would be preferred. The initial commitment is for at least 20 hours of authorized training until November 2025.

The successful candidate will be expected to develop a customized learning plan for each student, incorporating authentic materials and activities to enhance engagement and motivation. If textbooks are required, we will cover the cost. The teacher is encouraged to supplement with additional resources to cater to the students' interests and goals.

We are looking for someone who is patient, enthusiastic, and able to build rapport with adult learners. Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic are essential for this role.
