About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to take on a challenging leadership role as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) in our Acute Services unit at Barmera Health Service.

In this critical position, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Nurse Unit Manager and leading a dedicated team of nurses and midwives. Your key responsibilities will include ensuring continuity and consistency of care, working closely with other ANUMs and the NUM to drive excellence in patient outcomes.

You will be responsible for overseeing performance management, recruitment, staffing, rostering, and leave management, while also contributing to financial and supplies planning. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses and midwives in the Acute Services unit
  • Support the Nurse Unit Manager in driving excellence in patient outcomes

  • Contribute to financial and supplies planning
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A minimum of 3 years post-registration experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Experience in supervising student nurses, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses
  • Current registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
  • Holds or eligible to hold a current practicing certificate

Salary and Employment Conditions

This is a temporary part-time position (32 hours per week) with a salary ranging from $100,343 to $107,279 per annum (pro rata). The appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.
