Job Description

    We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tanker Driver to join our team in Cairns. As aTanker Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring all deliveries of fuel are made in a safe, efficient, and professional manner.

    The Role:

  • Ensuring vehicle loading and unloading operations are carried out under Terminal and SLP standards and are compliant with regulations set out in the Australian Standards for fuel handling and storage.
  • Providing quality customer service.
  • Processing all delivery transactions accurately.
  • Washing the trucks and tankers frequently and ensuring the interior is maintained daily.

    Requirements:

  • Current licences and permits (MC driver licence, Dangerous Goods licence).
  • Current SLP.
  • Minimum 3 years articulated driving experience.
  • Understanding of dangers associated with petroleum products.
  • Understanding of Dangerous Goods codes and practices.
  • Ability to work from various locations.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and expeditiously.
  • Accuracy in processing documentation and submission to head office.
  • Effective oral and written communication including mathematical skills.
  • Self-motivated and displays energy and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members, internal and external customers to accomplish organizational goals.
