About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team and lead our financial operations across Australia and New Zealand. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for leading the entire month-end reporting process, including assisting with the monthly management report. You will also lead the preparation of the annual financial statements and tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the month-end reporting process and assist with the monthly management report.
  • Prepare the annual financial statements and tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Develop financial policies and procedures as required.
  • Be the key point of contact for external advisors, including auditors, tax advisors, and regulators.
  • Lead a nimble and highly skilled finance team.
  • Identify and lead finance process improvement and system automation.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with proven leadership experience and a deep understanding of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting. You will demonstrate exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with success in this role driven by your capacity to lead effectively and inspire teams to deliver high performance. Strong communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and commercial acumen are essential. Proficiency in MYOB Advance is considered a plus. Previous experience in wholesale, distribution, retail, or a multi-site or inventory-based business would be highly advantageous.
