NW Mining & Civil is seeking a skilled and experienced electrical maintenance specialist to join our team for ongoing maintenance work at a local mine site.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out installation, repair, and maintenance work within a lead environment on the mine site.
- Work in a team to ensure efficient and safe completion of tasks.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to achieve maintenance goals.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and maintenance to prevent downtime.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to optimize equipment performance.
- QLD Electrical license
- Current LRV/CPR certification
- Current working at heights and confined space certification
- High risk EWP and/or Forklift certification (highly regarded)
- Ability to work in lead areas of the mine, including being clean shaven and wearing a respirator
- Pass a pre-employment medical and D&A testing
- 12-hour shifts, both days and nights
- $55/hr flat rate
- 3 weeks on, 2 weeks off roster
- Meals and accommodation provided while on shift
- Local Mt Isa applicants preferred, but flights available from Brisbane, Townsville, or Cairns
