We are seeking a talented and versatile Digital Media Production Specialist to join our team at Scorptec. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality video content for our website, social media platforms, and advertising campaigns.

Main Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled individual with expertise in video production, photography, graphic design, and email marketing. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Producing regular video content that meets our business objectives and aligns with the Scorptec brand
  • Collaborating with our Digital Marketing Manager to develop engaging video concepts and storyboards
  • Operating video and photography equipment in studio and on-location settings
  • Editing video footage using Adobe Premiere and other software
  • Preparing content for publishing on various media platforms
  • Photographing Scorptec gaming systems and workstations
  • Editing and compositing images for use on our website and social media channels
  • Designing graphics for videos, social media, email, print, and banners
  • Assisting in the production of email marketing campaigns
  • Reporting on campaign performance
  • Attending industry events and expos such as PAX, Intel Extreme Masters, and DreamHack

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a video production role, preferably within the tech or gaming industry
  • Extensive practical experience with all aspects of video production, including storyboarding, script writing, lighting, videography, editing, mastering, special effects, color grading, captions, animations, voiceovers, thumbnail design, etc.
  • Proficiency in graphic design, photo editing, and compositing
  • Intimate knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, and Illustrator
  • Able to communicate ideas clearly and succinctly to both creative and non-creative audiences
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a small team
  • Intimate understanding of gaming, tech, and online meme culture
