Highly Experienced Environmental Consultant Required

We are seeking a highly experienced Environmental Consultant to lead our team in delivering high-quality environmental impact assessments and management services.
The ideal candidate will have circa 15 years' experience in consulting, government or industry, with a keen eye for technical details and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing expert advice on best practice EIA and management principles to clients and internal teams
- Leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects across various sectors
- Assisting in the development and implementation of team business plans and strategies
- Developing effective relationships with clients and internal team members, particularly across other technical disciplines
- Working closely with the team lead to drive team growth and success
- Conducting thorough technical reviews and mentoring junior staff
- Delivering clear and precise, high-quality reports
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A degree in Environmental Science, Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 15 years' experience in environmental impact assessment and primary state and commonwealth approvals
- A solid network and ability to win work through business development and demonstrated client management expertise
- Strong experience in major linear infrastructure projects is essential. Experience in Mining (particularly non-coal e.g. copper, gold etc), Energy or Renewables will also be highly regarded
- Demonstrated experience directing and managing multidisciplinary projects
- Demonstrated knowledge of state and Commonwealth environmental legislation and policies, standards and guidelines
- Demonstrated knowledge of international impact assessment and securities reporting will be looked upon favourably
- Strong attention to detail
