**Early Childhood Education Specialist Role**

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to join our team as an Early Childhood Education Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about supporting the development of young children and their families.

In this role, you will work closely with early childhood educators and families to enhance their capacity and confidence in providing high-quality care and education. You will provide expert guidance and support through specialized advice, referral pathways, and linkages to relevant services.

This position requires a strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. **Key Responsibilities:**

  • Manage an active caseload and prioritize referrals to ensure effective service delivery and meeting of funding obligations.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to early childhood educators, families, and stakeholders through specialized advice, identifying referral pathways, and facilitating linkages to support and education services.
  • Promote the PSFO service and strengthen professional partnerships and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders and programs.

**Requirements:**

  • Degree in early childhood education or regulatory equivalent.
  • Additional qualifications in Special Education desirable.
  • Proficient conflict resolution skills and ability to support educators with challenging conversations.
  • Current valid Victorian Driver's Licence.
  • Must hold or be able to obtain an Employee Working with Children Check.
