The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Advising management and staff on health, safety, and environmental best practices.
  2. Conducting risk assessments and safety audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  3. Developing and implementing health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
  4. Monitoring and enforcing compliance with local, state, and federal HSE regulations.
  5. Providing HSE training and support to employees at all levels.
  6. Leading incident investigations and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
  7. Preparing and submitting regular HSE reports to senior management.
  8. Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of the company's environmental management system.
  9. Staying updated on the latest HSE legislation and best practices.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience (5+ years) as a HSE Advisor in construction or related industries.
  2. Highly regarded qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
  3. Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, risk assessment, and environmental management.
  4. Ability to influence and drive a safety culture across all levels of the organisation.
  5. Experience in the construction, commissioning, and operation of onshore/near shore marine or similar projects.
  6. High level of communication and interpersonal skills.
