Maternity Services Midwife

Deliver high-quality women and newborn-centered care in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia's Standards of Practice for Midwives, and the Policies and Procedures of the Ministry of Health (MoH) and Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and deliver midwifery care to women and newborns
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive work environment

Requirements:

  • Current registration as a Registered Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
  • Relevant experience in maternity services or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
