**Role Overview**

Central Australian Aboriginal Congress is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Work and Study Specialist (WSS) within the headspace program.

The WSS will play a vital role in supporting young people with mental illness aged 12 to 25 years, providing vocational assistance and helping to address the additional barriers to employment faced by this cohort.

Main Responsibilities

  • Implement the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) program, providing vocational assistance to young people with mental illness.
  • Conduct advanced assessments and develop plans to enhance vocational engagement for participants.
  • Draw on a range of interventions to address the additional barriers to employment faced by young people with mental illness.
  • Work collaboratively with the integrated team to ensure effective program delivery.
