Job Title: Broadcast Engineer

 

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Broadcast Engineer to join our development team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who want to work on building and maintaining a highly available on-premise IP-based broadcast facility.

 

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in IP-based broadcast engineering, with a hands-on approach to configuring physical and software-based broadcast lab equipment. They should also have knowledge of and experience with ST 2110 infrastructure, including performance and reliability monitoring solutions.

 

Responsibilities include designing and maintaining a scalable 2110 broadcast lab facility, installing and configuring third-party video/audio solutions within the lab, integrating and maintaining COTS hardware solutions, developing and maintaining lab environment configurations and recall states, assisting development teams with test workflows, applying automation as needed, and providing documentation for users and commissioning teams.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our operational objectives and plans, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the growth and success of our organization.

 

Required skills and qualifications include experience with broadcast media network standards (NMOS, ST2022, ST2110), hands-on experience building and maintaining broadcast equipment, proficiency with Linux, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies, and familiarity with scripting, automation, and troubleshooting tools.
