About the Role:

Townsville Catholic Education is seeking a skilled Groundsperson to join our team. As a Groundsperson, you will be responsible for providing high-quality gardening care, maintenance, and development of facilities and transportation services for students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic maintenance and development of college facilities, grounds, and gardens in accordance with schedules and routines or as directed by the Facilities Supervisor, Business Manager, or Principal.
  • Ensure all work tasks comply with Workplace Health and Safety requirements by liaising with the WHS Officer.
  • Assist with building and grounds maintenance, gardening, painting, general cleaning, and washing down of facilities.
  • Carry out minor repairs to the school's property and equipment as requested.
  • Assist with the setup and dismantling of equipment for school functions.
