Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Geographic Information System (GIS) developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Python programming, GIS software, and spatial databases.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working on complex projects, collaborating with others, and continuously learning and improving their skills.

The selected candidate will work closely with solution architects and technical leads to design, develop, and implement Physical Network Inventory tools within a scaled agile delivery framework.

We are looking for someone with strong customer service skills, ability to respond to changing priorities, and proficiency in creating high-level and detailed design artifacts.

The successful candidate will also participate in test planning, ensure quality standards through code reviews, and contribute to status reports and strategy initiatives.

In addition to technical skills, we value individuals who are able to work independently, have excellent problem-solving skills, and can effectively communicate their ideas.

The following skills and qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Proficiency in Python programming with advanced libraries like Pandas and Numpy.
  • Experience with GIS software and spatial databases.
  • Familiarity with ArcGIS.
  • Strong understanding of Agile lifecycle management tools like JIRA/Confluence.
  • Prior experience with AWS technologies.
  • Ability to update and maintain test suites using PyTest.
