Senior Accountant Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in Esperance, WA.

  • The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of Australian tax and be able to take ownership of high-value client relationships, providing strategic tax and business advisory services.
  • Responsibilities will include performing core responsibilities such as client service, tax planning, and preparation of BAS, financials, and tax returns.
  • The successful candidate will also mentor and develop junior team members while managing complex client portfolios.
  • Leadership skills and autonomy in leading key client projects with the ability to ensure strategic goals are met are essential.

Requirements

  • Experience in public practice with a strong background in compliance tasks, reconciliation, and tax planning.
  • Working towards or having completed their CA/CPA qualification is a must.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work seamlessly with others are crucial.
  • Possession of strong leadership skills, flexibility, and enthusiasm in performing additional tasks within capabilities is desirable.
