Job Summary:

Aquatic Programs Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Aquatic Programs Instructor to join our team at the Orange Aquatic Centre. As an Aquatic Programs Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality swimming lessons to students of all ages and skill levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver Learn to Swim programs that cater to the diverse needs of students;
  • Manage student behavior and ensure a safe and enjoyable learning environment;
  • Organize and set up equipment for lessons;
Requirements:
  • Certification in Teacher of Water Safety (Royal Lifesaving NSW or AUSTSWIM);
  • Experience in planning and delivering swim programs;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Current CPR certificate;
Working Conditions:

This is a casual position working varied shifts including weekends and school holidays. You will work closely with other instructors and aquatic staff to provide excellent customer service and achieve program goals.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a passion for teaching and coaching swimming.

Applicants must have a satisfactory Working With Children Check and a current Provide CPR certificate.
