Digital Platform Quality Assurance Expert

The Test and Release Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, stability, and reliability of digital platforms that support energy customers across Australia.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Testing & Release Management
- Develop and execute test plans in line with industry best practices.
- Conduct functional, integration, and end-to-end testing across retail applications.
- Log and manage defects, collaborating with developers and business teams to ensure release readiness.
- Regression Automation
- Build and maintain automated regression suites using cutting-edge tools.
- Update scripts to reflect business changes (e.g., tariff updates).
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines with seamless integration.
- Manage non-production environments (dev, test, staging), ensuring configurations mirror production.
- Coordinate environment scheduling, refreshes, and data masking in line with privacy regulations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Reporting
- Align testing strategies with project goals and deliver clear reports on test outcomes and release risks.
- Support post-release validation and monitor production performance.
This is a full-time role based in our Southbank office, operating within a hybrid work model. The position requires a high level of flexibility to meet delivery timelines and support critical business activities.
Requirements- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or related field.
- ISTQB certification (International Software Testing Qualification Board).
- Experience in the Utilities Industry, ideally within the Energy Retail Sector.
- Strong background in test planning, execution, and defect management.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing deadlines.
