About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and service Komatsu OEM machinery, including dump trucks, dozers, excavators, and loaders.
  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on heavy plant equipment.
  • Ensure quality of work meets Komatsu documentation and specifications.
  • Deliver professional-standard workmanship within agreed timelines.
  • Liaise with customers as required and report on interactions.
  • Complete timesheets, service reports, and relevant documentation accurately and on time.
Requirements
  • A Certificate or qualification in Heavy Diesel Mechanics or Mobile Plant Technology is essential.
  • Previous experience with Komatsu equipment is highly advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills for internal and external customers are necessary.
  • An excellent understanding of safety and environmental principles is mandatory.
  • The ability to work independently and remotely is required.
  • Intermediate computer knowledge and skills are necessary.
  • Forklift Certification and Working at Heights Certification are also essential.
