Job Title: Technical Expert in Land Combat Vehicle SystemsOverview

The role of a Technical Expert in Land Combat Vehicle Systems involves delivering engineering solutions for complex land vehicle systems, including mobility, lethality, survivability, electronic systems, and integrated logistic support.

This position requires a multidisciplinary approach, working within a team to apply systems engineering principles across the full lifecycle, from requirements development through verification and validation.

A key aspect of this role is the integration of mechanical, electrical, and mission systems, with a particular emphasis on software and embedded systems.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Defence systems engineering, software design, and integration, as well as excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related discipline. Chartered status is highly regarded.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Defence systems engineering with a software focus, ideally in land vehicle platforms.
  • Proven expertise in requirements management, risk management, configuration management, and verification & validation processes.
  • Familiarity with ASDEFCON contracting frameworks, AEO requirements, and Defence acquisition processes.
