Job Overview
In this position, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of conveyancing and registration matters. You will work closely with a team of experienced professionals to ensure timely completion of tasks and provide exceptional client service.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be highly organized, and possess a high attention to detail. You will also be required to develop strong problem-solving skills and work effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Opening files and preparing contracts of sale
- Preparing vendors statements and conveyancing related documentation
- Drafting special conditions
- Attending to settlements and ensuring the return of documents
- Dealing with day-to-day conveyancing and registration issues
- Developing skills to take responsibility for the management of document registers
Requirements
To perform this role successfully, you must possess:
- A minimum of 1-2 years' experience as a paralegal, law clerk or licensed conveyancer
- Familiarity and experience using the PEXA platform
- High attention to detail and meticulous organisational skills
- Ability to work at pace and thrive under pressured environments
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
- Natural ability to problem solve and come up with solutions
- Confidence in dealing with senior stakeholders
- Diploma of Conveyancing or previous experience working in a large professional services environment
