We are seeking an expert in training and development to join our team as a Training Expertise Lead. This role is based in Queensland, Australia.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and delivering high-impact training solutions, with a focus on operational environments. They will be responsible for providing expert advice on best-practice learning and development approaches, collaborating with business leaders to implement and maintain the enterprise-wide training strategy, and promoting continuous improvement by applying quality management principles.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with stakeholders to identify training needs, design and deliver effective training solutions, and assist with project management of large-scale training initiatives. You will also provide guidance on Registered Training Organisation (RTO) processes and contribute to maintaining high-quality learning and assessment products.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on best-practice learning and development approaches

  • Work with stakeholders to identify training needs and design effective training solutions
  • Assist with project management of large-scale training initiatives
  • Provide guidance on RTO processes and contribute to maintaining high-quality learning and assessment products

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise in training design, delivery, and needs analysis
  • Experience managing projects, with the ability to balance multiple initiatives and meet deadlines
  • An analytical approach to improving training processes and systems
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Intermediate proficiency in tools like Excel and MS 365 for planning and coordination
  • Knowledge or experience with Registered Training Organisation frameworks is highly desirable
