Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to join our team as a Talent Development Manager. This role will be responsible for driving career development, learning, and engagement initiatives, while also shaping early-career programs that attract and nurture emerging talent.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create career development strategies and performance plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Design and implement strategic learning and development initiatives that empower employees to continuously improve and grow within the organization.
  • Manage performance reviews, probationary assessments, and career milestone processes ensuring consistency and fairness.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance and career development, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge to support their teams effectively.
  • Develop and execute an early-career program, including a graduate program, to attract and nurture emerging talent.
  • Identify skill gaps across teams and create tailored training programs, working with external speakers and facilitators for targeted learning experiences.
  • Analyse HR metrics to provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership, driving data-informed decision-making.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives, including cyclical HR activities such as gathering feedback, action planning, and implementing improvements that enhance the employee experience.
  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing culture by working closely with people leaders.
  • Stay up-to-date with employment legislation and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles and workplace relations legislation.
  • Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proven ability to manage HR projects and drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including SharePoint, and experience in internal communications.
  • Experience with Culture Amp preferable.
