
Inclusive Learning Environment Specialist

As a leader in special education, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic and spiritual growth of students with diverse needs. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating inclusive learning environments that foster purposeful lives.
The position requires a unique blend of skills, including collaboration with teachers and external stakeholders, delivery of professional learning, and management of programs to support students with disability.
- Develop and implement tailored plans to address individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers to ensure seamless integration of adjustments into school curriculum plans
- Deliver high-quality professional learning to staff and parents on inclusive practices
- Manage and coordinate documentation under relevant legislation, ensuring confidentiality and privacy
- Ensure effective collection and analysis of data to inform student inclusion and program development
- Support the development of inclusive learning environments through capacity building and collaborative working
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A clear understanding of Catholic education values and commitment to social justice
- Proven experience working with students across various disability categories
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams, build relationships, and communicate effectively
- Expertise in delivering professional learning, supporting staff development, and parent engagement
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, CSO staff, and external stakeholders
- Experience in developing and implementing personalized plans and learner profiles for students with disability
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills
This role demands a strong educational background, postgraduate qualifications in Special Education, active accreditation, and current paid NSW Working with Children Check number.
Required Skills and QualificationsEssential Qualifications: Four-year trained teacher, postgraduate qualifications in Special Education, NESA Accreditation, NSW Working with Children Check number
Desirable Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
