About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Midwife to join our team at Monash Health. As a Women's Health Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to women and their families, from antenatal to postnatal periods. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient-centered care, while promoting a culture of compassion, innovation, and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert midwifery care to women and their families, from antenatal to postnatal periods.
- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient-centered care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and preferences of each patient.
- Conduct thorough assessments, identify risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of best practices and policies.
Requirements
- Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Experience in midwifery care, with a strong focus on women's health and postnatal care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, promoting a culture of compassion, innovation, and excellence.
