Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our Industrial EI&C team. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing and delivering carbon neutral and sustainable projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical, instrumentation, and control systems for industrial and process plant projects
  • Collaborate with project managers, discipline engineers, and designers to ensure project deliverables are met
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and industry best practices
  • Provide technical expertise and support to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients and the environment
Requirements:
  • Completed a degree in Electrical Engineering recognized by Engineers Australia
  • Minimum of 5 years' post-graduate experience working on industrial projects, delivering process plant projects, energy sector, water sector, or mining projects
  • In-depth knowledge of 'in-plant' electrical distribution (MV and LV systems) and motor control systems
  • Applied knowledge of relevant standards including AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 3008.1.1, and AS/NZS 2067
  • Understanding of renewable energy and industrial communications systems
  • Experience across all project development phases, including concept, FEED, and detail design
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
