Job SummaryWe have an exciting opportunity for skilled individuals to join our team as Infantry Soldiers in the Royal Australian Infantry Corps. As an Infantry Soldier, you will be part of a cohesive unit responsible for locating and engaging enemy forces, conducting patrols and surveillance, and deploying to capture or destroy enemy positions.
You will work closely with your team to gather intelligence, use high-tech equipment and weaponry, and provide security for Army units and vital assets. Our Infantry Soldiers are highly trained and equipped to operate in a variety of environments, from the battlefield to humanitarian missions.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a dynamic and challenging environment. You will be taught to use advanced weapons, including the EF88 AUSTEYR rifle, F89 Light Support Weapon, and M18A1 Claymore, as well as night vision and thermal imagery equipment.
As your career progresses, you may have the opportunity to specialize in areas such as driving, vehicle command, section leadership, and combat communication. Our Infantry Soldiers are part of the Royal Australian Regiment and are posted to one of seven battalions, each with its own unique role and responsibilities.

Training and DevelopmentAs an Infantry Soldier, you will receive comprehensive training and development to help you succeed in your role. Our training programs are designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to operate effectively in a variety of environments.
You will learn to use advanced weapons, including the EF88 AUSTEYR rifle and F89 Light Support Weapon, as well as night vision and thermal imagery equipment. Our training programs also cover areas such as combat communication, section leadership, and driving.
