Mazzei Electric Ltd. is a reputable electrical contracting company based in Nanaimo, BC, with a strong presence across Vancouver Island, the Okanagan, and Northern BC. Our company has grown significantly since its inception in 1994, offering a wide range of services including commercial service contracts, multi-family residential, commercial, institutional, and light industrial projects.

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreperson to join our team in Victoria, BC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing daily operations, ensuring the successful completion of work scope and adherence to company OHS policies and procedures.

• Plan and coordinate daily operations, including completion of work scope and on-site inventory management
• Develop and manage construction schedules, monitoring progress and ensuring timely completion
• Read and interpret drawings and schematics, coordinating with site coordinators or general superintendents as needed
• Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism in client and contractor relations
• Install and troubleshoot electrical components in multi-family residential, commercial, and institutional structures
• Ensure adherence to safety programs and policies, wearing appropriate PPE and attending safety training as required
• Provide instruction and leadership to apprentices and journeypersons
• Ensure punctual and reliable presence on worksites
• Understand and apply Arc Flash and Lock-out/Tag-out procedures

• Red-Seal Journeyperson Electrician Certificate
• At least 5 years of electrical experience in multi-family residential and commercial sectors
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Valid Class B FSR or higher an asset
• Extensive knowledge of CEC
• Commercial/residential construction experience required
• Valid Class 5 driver's license preferred
