About the Role

As a healthcare professional, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

  • Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safe delivery of emergency and acute care services to our community.
  • You will work collaboratively with a dedicated management team to drive innovation and improvement initiatives that enhance staff satisfaction and patient safety.
  • A key aspect of your role will be effective rostering, absenteeism management, and recruitment strategies to develop and retain a skilled and engaged team.
  • You will foster a culture of open communication, teamwork, and collaboration to promote a cohesive and stable acute care team.
  • Additionally, you will contribute to the on-call roster on a rotational basis.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will require current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and hold a current annual practicing certificate.

A postgraduate qualification in acute care, health management, and Indigenous health would be highly desirable.
