We are seeking a dedicated Care Professional to join our team at Calvary Care. As a Resident Support Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality resident-centred care, attending to the personal needs of our residents. This is a rewarding and challenging role that requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a passion for working in Aged Care.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting residents to live independently and make informed decisions about their lives.
  • Conducting assessments and observations to identify the physical, emotional, and lifestyle needs of our residents.
  • Implementing clinical and care interventions as delegated by the Registered Nurse, and as documented in the resident's plan of care.
  • Assisting residents with their personal care and hygiene needs, while promoting independence and dignity.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will require:
  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent qualification.
  • A strong understanding of the Aged Care sector and its challenges.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Current Covid-19 vaccinations, including booster.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality care and making a positive difference in the lives of our residents.
