Electrical Installation Team Leader

We are seeking a seasoned Electrical Installation Team Leader to oversee our team's efforts in delivering complex renewable energy projects.

  • Lead and coordinate day-to-day site installation planning, ensuring timely completion of WTG installation activities.
  • Conduct visitor site inductions when on-site HSE officers are unavailable.
  • Manage material coordination, including WTG components, tools, and subcontractor manpower.
  • Implement and maintain site-specific quality control plans, adhering to general quality systems for subcontractors.
  • Rig, unload, load, and prepare equipment at the site, ensuring safe handling practices.
  • Perform initial inventory of received goods and materials, handing over tools and site parts to subcontractors.
  • Evaluate tool condition and ensure calibration certificates are up-to-date.
  • Conduct final inventory of equipment and parts after site work completion, coordinating with transport and subcontractors on project delivery schedules.
  • Update project status and provide input to project plans.
  • Supervise daily installation activities by external resources, ensuring fulfillment of project execution (health, safety, quality, and time) and contractual obligations by subcontractors.
  • Inspect and preserve WTG components, maintaining related reports.
  • Ensure installations adhere to installation manuals and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors on page-turns and perform final walk-downs of turbines.
  • Address non-conformities (NCRs), implement corrective actions, and resolve issues.
  • Prepare as-built documentation.
Requirements:
  • Educated to Year 12 standard or equivalent, preferably with trade qualifications in the electrical field.
  • Experience with craneage and heavy lifting, including understanding of lift studies and methodologies for mobile cranes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Proven experience in supervision and leadership.
  • Current unrestricted working rights for Australia.
