Job Description

We are seeking an experienced academic to contribute to the delivery and development of our Medical Science programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching within the Medical Science discipline, including delivering lectures, tutorials, laboratories, and practical sessions. They will also coordinate units, develop curriculum, and assess student learning.

The ideal candidate will have a strong research record, including publications, with the capacity to contribute to the School's research initiatives. They should possess a doctoral qualification or equivalent in Medical/Biomedical Sciences or a closely related discipline, as well as a teaching qualification.

The role requires the ability to engage students and support their learning through flexible, multi-modal teaching approaches. A collaborative mindset and commitment to applied, real-world education are essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A doctoral qualification or equivalent in Medical/Biomedical Sciences or a closely related discipline.
  • Possession of, or willingness to obtain, a teaching qualification (e.g., Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching/Education).
  • A strong research record, including publications, with the capacity to contribute to the School's research initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience in engaging students and supporting their learning through flexible, multi-modal teaching approaches.
