We are seeking a skilled and experienced Deck Hand to join our team at Precruitment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the general maintenance, operation, and safety of a vessel. This includes cleaning and maintaining the deck, handling ropes and lines during docking and undocking, and ensuring that all safety equipment is in working order.

• Manage and operate boating equipment such as ropes, wires, and mooring lines
• Handle ropes during docking and undocking procedures, including throwing, catching, and securing lines
• Coordinate with other staff to ensure the smooth and safe operation of the boat
• Assist guests to safely embark and disembark from the boat
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of equipment to ensure good working order
• Adhere to Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, welcoming, and informative

• Certificate III or equivalent qualification
• At least 1 year of relevant employment experience
• PADI Divemaster Qualification, Master V, and MED II

A competitive salary of $60,000 - $70,000 based on experience
