Cash Settlements Opportunity

As a Cash Settlement Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of cash settlement transactions. Your key tasks will include daily preparation and input/transfer of payments, processing cash payments and receipts for all domestic and international transactions, and settlement of RTGS and International Payments (SWIFT).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process cash transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Process cash payments and receipts for all domestic and international transactions.
  • Settle RTGS and International Payments (SWIFT) to ensure timely completion of cash settlement transactions.
  • Monitor and maintain trust balances to prevent discrepancies.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for all cash settlement queries.
  • Support clients over the phone by providing excellent customer service.
  • Manage and prioritize your workload to meet strict deadlines.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience within cash settlement or payments, preferably in a financial markets setting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Strong time management and organization skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel.
  • Tertiary qualification in finance is advantageous.
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to learn new concepts and skills.
  • A strong team player approach and desire to assist others.

Contract Details:

  • 6 month fixed term contract with potential to extend or convert.
  • Working holiday visas will be considered.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5pm.
