The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced ILS Manager to join our Land Domain Team. The successful candidate will provide management and integrated logistics support for our defence clients.

Responsibilities

  • Oversight, management and delivery of ILS documentation
  • Provision of SME advice to the review of contract deliverables
  • Assist with planning of the ILS Program including the development of ILS strategies, concepts and workforce plan
  • Provision of ILS specialist advice associated with the analysis, definition and planning for project execution
  • Provide Inventory Management support utilising MILIS skills
  • Provision of SME materiel sustainment advice to higher management and technical reviews
  • Liaison with internal and external stakeholders to ensure ILS activities are appropriately managed

Required Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge

The successful candidate will be/have:

  • A suitably qualified ILS Professional with a minimum of 7+ years experience within Defence or a related industry;
  • Strong working knowledge of Defence Logistics systems, tools and processes;
  • Demonstrated experience in the current Capability Life Cycle (advantageous); and
  • Leadership and management of the ILS team, including task allocation and prioritisation, team training and development, review of work packages and documentation, tactical and strategic ILS planning, collaborative working and influence on the work teams to deliver in accordance with the agreed Project Schedule, provision of ILS input and advice to support decision making groups, attendance at meetings and provision of input relating to ILS, risk management for ILS within the Project Risk structure, development and review of Integrated Logistics Support Instructions, participation in Capability Proposal (CP) meetings and working groups, participation in CoA verification trials, specialist support for procurement planning, input into cost estimates/sustainment (FELCCA) costs as required by the CoA, input to Transition of Support Responsibilities of Capability Proposals, performance of MILIS and CMT-L tasks as required, and representation of ILS to the Project Senior Leadership Team.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary package of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including flexible working, paid parental leave, income protection, corporate rewards, salary packaging/novated leasing, employee stock purchase plans, flu shots, skin checks and discounted private health insurance.

This role is based at Victoria Barracks in Melbourne and requires a current AGSVA Security Clearance.
